Brand Love

A brand that I absolutely love is Nivea. I trust their stuff. They might not always have the promised effect on me but they have never made my skin worse. Never! As I’ve mentioned in a previous post I have used their face scrub for many years. I used one of their moisturizers for a really long time and loved it! Somehow I don’t think I’ve ever given their face wipes a go. I don’t know why because they are great!

I picked up the Nivea daily essentials gentle facial cleansing wipes for dry and sensitive skin.  It claims to gently cleanse and moisturize, remove makeup and waterproof mascara, suitable for sensitive eyes. With natural almond Oil and Hydra IQ.
As I am allergic to almonds when eating it I was rather hesitant at first. Usually I stay as far away from face products with nuts in them as I possibly can. But this had me change my mind. If I didn’t like it or cope with it I could always give it to my sister.

 I have really enjoyed using this and I’ve already finished one. This only has one use so far, but I am looking forward to wipe away all my makeup tonight! It has a slight fragrance scent to it, but nothing obnoxious. It takes away all my makeup beautifully. Except my mascara. I don’t use waterproof mascara but I still have to work with it to get it off. So I don’t think it will work on waterproof. Sometimes if I’m in a hurry or don’t want to fuss I use my Lancome eyemakeup remover first and then go over with a wipe to get that horrible oiliness off my face. It has soothed my skin somewhat and hasn’t broken me out! I am amazed! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with seriously dry skin. My cheeks have been a nightmare through all of December and this has helped a bit with that. It hasn’t made it worse anyway. Only drawback is that the wipes aren’t evenly soaked. Some parts are very dry and some are as wet as you want them. They don’t drip but are still nicely soaked in whatever magic is in them.
