July Favorites 2015

Finally there is a month where I’ve found some new faves. That’s partially why I haven’t done a Faves post in a while. And as you all might’ve read in a previous post, my camera decided to bail on me. Suffice it to say I got it back, but it will have to go away again. They didn’t fix it completely. Sigh.

On to the makeup galore!

 Quite many new gems.

This for one you might’ve seen in a haul post! I’ve heard mixed reviews about it, but I love it! At the end of the day my foundation is still there! A really good day, I can just re-powder after work and go shopping! How amazing is that!? Might not all be thanks to this, but still.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer.

I love me some VS! I can’t tell you how stoked I am they opened a store at the same mall as I have my closest Sephora. ( Only an hour drive away ) Sadly, they don’t carry the work out gear but they have some lingerie and a ton of perfumes and body mists! I typically like fruity and light scents. But this is quite the opposite. Very sexy and feminine. And for being a mist it stays on longer than I expected. The sales girl said two hours, but I want to say at least four.
Victoria Secret Scandalous.

I have been on the hunt for ages for a setting spray. They aren’t that common here, yet. We got the Smashbox Photoready primer spray water mist thingy like two months ago. I almost felt the urge to try it but then found this instead. And actually, I like it. I don’t wear it every single day, but when I do, I notice that my  make up looks better longer. I haven’t tried it to wet my eyeshadow brush yet. Gonna play with that this weekend if I get some peace and quiet.
E.l.f. Makeup Mist & Set.

I ran out of my NUXE face cream, sad, sad day that was. I found this on sale at my grocery store and thought, hey, for that price tag, it won’t matter if I like it or not. And so far, a week in, I like it. I will however let you guys know how I get on with this in the long run. Being very sensitive and all that jazz.

Garnier Moisture + Soft. Normal Skin.

I already adore this brush! you all know how I rave about my Expert Face Brush. I would b e utterly lost without it. I picked this up a couple of weeks ago and it is a staple now. I don’t buy brushes that often. Distributes and blends face powder like a dream. And it is super soft and just enough nicely dense. If you don’t own it, may I suggest you run out this instant and  buy it? It really is that good!!

Real Techniques Powder Brush.

Haven’t pulled this guy out in a long time. Having very much to do with the fact that I smashed it and that I’m usually too dry to use it. But now, over the summer, I can use it to set my foundation.

Rimmel Clear Complexion.

I’ve seemed to gotten more and more into contouring. I only do it lightly to enhance my cheekbones and slim down the jawline. I tap some highlight on the top of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. This is a simple two in one product, saves me time in the morning too.

Bourjois Bronzing Powder & Highlighter.

And at last, the palette I debated to get the full size of or the Too Faced Chocolate Bar. But I read so many bad reviews of this so I skipped it totally. But I saw this online and couldn’t resist it. It was just the right amount of money I wanted to spend, compact and just filled with colors that I would actually use The full size of this contains some shades I would never ever use. And guess what, haven’t had a single allergic reaction too it. And, I got an extra 15% off when I ordered it. It’s very compact, the size of your regular credit card, a decent mirror, no floppy brush you wouldn’t use and packs a great color payoff and they blend nicely. As you see, I can’t sing the praise loud enough. Will have to do a ful review of this alone. LOVE IT!

Smashbox Full Exposure. (Travel ed.)
