Review: Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder
I don’t think I ever hauled this, but I have been testing it out for the past month.
I’ve never tried this one before but I’ve gone through at least one of Rimmels other powders but didn’t like it too much since it altered the color of my foundation. I’ve heard both Fler from Fleur DeForce and Tati from Glamlifeguru rave about this.
I quite like the butterfly embossing it came with. You can see I’ve used this every day since I got it. It smells a little of florally chemicals but it disappears as soon as it hits your skin. Otherwise, it would annoy me greatly. It comes in six di9fferent shades but I got it in Transparent. I didn’t read the claims of it when I ordered it but they are as follows ”Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder controls shine up to 12hours. It minimizes the appearance of pores with a natural matte finish. You won’t go out without it!”
When I first used it I was amazed by the fact that it blurred out my pores. I had no idea until jsut now that it was supposed to do that! I was baffled! It blens out beautifully on top of my foudnation without looking cakey or adding to my already dry complexion. It doesn’t brake me out whick I like a lot but it only sets my foundation for up to 4 or 5 hours on a normal day at work. At tea time I look like a mess and in need of a touch up. So this definetly needs reapplying throughout the day.
