Volume Million Lashes Top Coat
This is a brand sparkling new product from L’Oreal and so far I haven’t heard anyone in the blogosphere talk about this yet. So I might be the first!
The Volume Million Lashes range have been around for ages. I’ve had some L’Oreal mascaras over the years but none of the from the Million Lashes family. This is not your typical mascara either. This is a glittery topcoat! Very festive and seasonably appropriate. Especially for the New Year and all your Christmas parties!
I’ve had it for a few days now and I’ve worn it every single day! Except for one. Which I will get to in a bit.
It comes in L’Oreals standard packaging but with a gorgeous purple top with silver sparkles. The product itself is a clear formula dosed with sparkly bits that glistens in every color under the sun. The wand is a silicony awkward piece. Do not care for that at all. It does the job alright but I wish it would be more of a comb than just a thing they threw in there. I use my ordinary mascara as usual but I wait for it to dry properly before I put the glittery top coat on. It’s a very subtle glitter and every day appropriate. It just gives your lashes a little bit of glam. Nothings that’s in your face. Pun intended. It looks really nice and wears throughout the whole day and doesn’t smudge, smear or go all over your face. Fantastic? Yes it truly is, except for one minor annoying detail. You may have created the perfect flared out lashes but this will somehow throughout the day clump them together and make them look more like spiderlegs than butterflylashes. This might just be a silly occurrence with my current mascara. I will try to pair it with my old Miss Manga mascara tomorrow and see if it yields a different result. Worth mentioning is that my current mascara is also from L’Oreal. It will be in my next post. So keep an eye out for that. The day without this was to see if it was my mascara acting up or if it truly was the top coat.
I haven’t had any allergic reactions to it. Some does get that from having glittery products near their eyes. I didn’t test it out before I got it, but if you can, I would recommend you to do it. No point in spending money on a thing you can’t use. No matter how tempting it looks.
Have you tried this? Is it launched yet where you live?
