I don’t know how I came up with the headline but bear with me!
I was in the market for a new moisturiser for so long cuz i am very picky about what I put in my face and my skin, let me tell you, is even picker about what it likes. Even though it is supposed to be good for sensitive skin a perfume free it breaks me out like crazy! I get alot of new samples from my mom who works in a pharmacy. I am her guinea pig. If I like it and my skin handles it then she can fully recommend it to her costumers. Which is great and I get to test alot of stuff!
Anyway, I’ve been using a daycream from Nivea for absolutely ages. I repurchased it for about 4 years I think. I’ve tried different others but didn’t like them as much. So when I was shopping one day like two months back I found this at 50% off and decided to give it a go.
It is Olays Total Effects 7 in One Mosturiser+ sensitive protection with spf 15. Wow, that sure was a mouthful!
The seven benefits are:
Reduces fine lines
Helps with uneven skintone
Aging spots
Uneven texture
Dryness
Dullness
Pores.
And it is supposed to be packed with white thea and hawthorne as antioxidants. That can never be wrong!
Okay, so after having tried t for almost two months I should notice some difference. Most daycreams shows effects after 3 weeks. At least on my skin. I don’t have that many fine lines to begin with, just around the eyes. I sort of have uneven skintone as in the meaning that I flush easily and get some redness on my cheeks. No aging spots, I am dry but not dull and some bigger pores that I hate! It has evened out my complexion and given it some more sheen than usual. My skin overall looks like it feels alot better. I remember waking up one morning and looking myself in the mirror and really noticing that I had a great skin day! It was like ”is this really me?” I am well over 20 now and still have some breakouts on my cheeks that never seem to want to go away. I will never have perfect skin and it pains me greatly. That good skinday lasted for a few days and then I got some breakouts but today I seem to be back at that great point. And I am pretty sure I owe it to this little guy! One thing that drives me absolutely insane about the Olay bottles is that the pumphead comes of the first few times when you take off thee protective plastic top. A hughe designflaw that I complained about on instagram.
I am really pleased with this and I might repurchase it. And that in itself is a great reward coming from me!
The pricepoint then? It was originally 155 SEK ( £14.67 & $23.48 ) so it’s on the pricier side. Not at the Biotherm or any of those but still. So if you devide that in half you get what I paid which I think is a much better price!
I will let you know how I get on with it.
Have you tried aanything from Olay? What was your thoughts? Which is your holy-skin-grail?
