Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Serum Foundation
Can I just kick this post off by retracting my former thoughts on the Maybelline Dream Wonder Nude foundation. A week after I did the post I decided I hated the foundation and everything about it! I just want to throw it away! It drove me absolutely mad! I’ve never hated a foundation as much!
Now, with that off my chest I must rave about this. And this I am certain of! I just don’t know what happened to the other one.
This thing took 53 days to land in my mail! 53 days! The first one somehow got lost in the mail so feelunique had to send me another one. I’ve never had that happen to me before with their things.
It is Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation, as the title would suggest.
It is a foundation that claims to be a 16 hour radiance boosting even and revived complexion gel foundation. Oh my, that was a mouthful. Vitamin rich fruit therapy and instant anti-fatigue.
The amount shown on my hand is one and a half pump and is enough to give my entire face a light coverage. Oh, and this comes with a pump!
I got the shade 51 Vanille Claire. It’s always a gamble to pick foundation online. There is no way I can get a hold of Bourjois in any other way than online. I use findation.com to pick my foundation shades. I’ve never had a bad result yet.
It comes in a sleek small elegant glass bottle which is a bonus. It’s very travel friendly or throw it in your ginormous purse and forget it. Or dream of finding it again. Not that I’ve ever done it. Not with this foundation at least. It has a slight sweet scent to it. It doesn’t remind me of anything in particular. It is in no way obnoxious or overwhelming. It doesn’t linger on the skin either. It gives a very light coverage. You can go in a second time and still get a very natural medium coverage. It doesn’t look cakey or cling to my very dry skin. It makes my face look healthy, radiant and healthy and moisturized all day! This is my holy grail go to foundation! I just love it! I’ve never had a gel foundation either. It blend beautifully and you will see this in many, many faves to come. It goes on lighter at first but after a few hours it matches down to your normal skintone. Not light as in ghostly or weird, just a bit lighter. It doesn’t last for 16 hours. Not on me at least. Then again, my skin eats foundation. I get a bit more wear out of it by using a primer underneath. What sold me on this was the gel and that it’s infused with goji berries and pomegranates, which both are full of antioxidants.
